How To Disrupt Community Harm Via Call Outs, Call Ins, & Call Ups
Live, Half-Day Workshop Intensive Where You'll Learn How to Speak up, Stop Harm And Support Your Community Members In Accountability Without People Pleasing or Policing
A Live Workshop For Justice-Driven Entrepreneurs, Organizational Leaders, And Changemakers
If you want your Black, queer, and other marginalized community members to experience radical safety but you struggle to 'hold your community members accountable' when they perpetuate white supremacy culture and other systems of oppression it's probably because you have only learned about community accountability through the lens of policing systems, punitive justice, and cancel culture.
So you see confrontation as inherently blame, shame and punishment-driven when it doesn't have to be.
Or maybe you struggle to support your community members in accountability when they cause harm because you've learned that it's not safe for you to challenge oppressive language, actions, and practices when you see it. In your communities and organizations, your efforts to disrupt oppressive cultural norms are often met with gaslighting, judgment, and rejection from folks who say they're invested in a more just world.
Instead of actually addressing the harm you brought attention to, folks try to characterize you and your delivery as the central problem. You're tired of being labeled rude, confrontational, or divisive no matter how polite or palatable you try to be in your pursuit of collective liberation.
In turn, you've gotten sucked into a cycle of people-pleasing where you constantly shrink and silence yourself because you've started prioritizing the feelings of folks who need to be accountable at the expense of your values, your needs, and the marginalized communities you support.
I'm here to help you radically shift these dynamics so you can transform your relationship with accountability!
Because when you know how to:
Then you can confidently confront your community members who cause harm in a way that feels less accusatory, overwhelming, and stressful for everyone.
This workshop will teach you the restorative justice-driven accountability strategies you need and how to implement them sustainably so you can call out harm, navigate conflict, and initiate tough accountability conversations with less shame and stress in your professional or social community spaces.

I left this course with a clearer sense of how I can use my power in my communities to take action that will actually promote change. I also left this course with a better understanding of what justice actually means and how my actions can be rooted in restorative and transformative justice. I feel like I now have next steps I can take to continue growing and pushing past low risk, performative advocacy. Thank you Michelle Nicole!

Read MoreMichelle Nicole did a great job in teaching about restorative justice and its potential to shape our attitudes and actions. She also struck a great balance in offering practical advice to activate advocacy. Her approach was rooted in encouragement and kindness, but also challenged us to think more deeply and reconsider our assumptions. I would definitely recommend her course to others and also looking forward to see what other offerings she puts forth. Thanks very much Michelle!
